EVIL MASQUERADE ‘WELCOME TO THE SHOW’

The Danish band EVIL MASQUERADE features former ROYAL HUNT vocalist Henrik Brockmann and ex-MOAHNI MOAHNA/ZOOL guitarist Henrik Flyman. Together with a few other musicians (such as SINPHONIA drummer Dennis Buhl and guest keyboardplayers like Mats Olausson – MALMSTEEN, Richard Andersson – SPACE ODYSSEY and Andre Andersen – ROYAL HUNT/CORNERSTONE) they have recorded a high quality release which will please all fans of Neo-Classical keyboard/harmonyvocal-driven uptempo Melodic Metal. The sound is not far away from ROYAL HUNT, ARTENSION or MAJESTIC, so fans of such bands will be pleased with this release. The album’s finest tracks are uptempo Melodic Metal pieces such as “The wind will rise”, “Welcome to the show”, “Oh Harlequin”, “Surprises in the dark” (awesome song, pure SPACE ODYSSEY!) and “Children of the light”. Most of the songs are very impressive actually, because I could also mention here the lovely chorus of “Lucy the Evil” (like MAGNUM meets AT VANCE, is that possible?). Concluded, a recommended piece to fans of mentioned bands...
