| EVIL MASQUERADE – Theatrical Madness
/ Frontiers

This is the sophomore album of the band and we
can honestly say that it has nothing to do with their debut
one. This is actually a good album from a band playing power
progressive metal with a symphonic edge. The transformation
this band has gone through is amazing. It’s not that they
changed their style or something, it’s the fact that they
suddenly started writing good music. In musical terms maybe
this album is a bit more progressive than the previous one,
but still this is not the main reason for their transformation.
I have absolutely no idea what changed but this is an album
worth checking out. It features some very good melodies,
the music is technical and the arrangements are complex
with the songs having enough changes, but on the same time
they have kept their symphonic feeling and the power in
their music. On top of everything the album is expertly
produced and the sound of the band is excellent.
